Härtsfeldbahn

Haertsfeldbahn
The olden Härtsfeldbahn leading from Aalen via Neresheim to Dillingen/Donau (in Bavaria) was frequently used for weekend trips due to the very pleasant landscape. But in 1972 the service closed down and the line was demolished. In 1996, after waiting 5 years for planning permission, reconstruction of the first 3 km began. Since then, the track has grown and grown and today the old narrow gauge train rolls again at full steam.
