National England International Faye White has been chosen as the poster girl for the German National Tourist Office (GNTO) campaign leading up to the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany™ (26th June until 17th July 2011). The campaign started on the 14th February and will run at 220 underground and public transport sites in London and Manchester, showing Faye in upbeat mood declaring "I've heard Germany's a great place for a short break. I'm planning a long one!"

In 2011, Germany will host the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011™, tickets are now on sale and the England team have already qualified. So if you are an England fan, come to Germany and support your country!

The opening ceremony and the Opening Match will take place in Berlin on 26 June. The Final takes place on 17 July in Frankfurt. Fans can look forward to a joyful and top-quality festival of world class football.

In 1972 an international United Nation treaty was signed to protect cultural and natural heritage sites which are considered to be of outstanding value to humanity. Consequently UNESCO was put in charge of protecting and designating sites of universal interest.

Today Germany is very proud to have a wonderful selection of 33 UNESCO listed sites.
