Bavaria: Golfing with a view in Ruhpolding
Surrounded by the Alps in a picturesque valley, Ruhpoldings 18-hole golf course is pure pleasure. Sheltered from the wind and known for its mild climate in summer with lots of sunshine, the valley is a perfect location for the golf course featuring natural habitats, water hazards and lots of green.

Ruhpolding in Upper Bavaria, about 70 miles south-east of Munich, is an ideal base for golf aficionados with another 40 courses reachable in no more than an hours drive. The idyllic village also offers a wide variety of accommodation options and together with its partner hotels Ruhpolding Golf Club offers up to 30% green fee reductions.

To add a bit of variety to your golfing break, Ruhpolding is also perfectly located for visiting some of the most famous sights in Bavaria such as Lake Chiemsee with the Herreninsel island just a short distance away or Lake Knigssee surrounded by high Alpine peaks. Alternatively, simply enjoy a hike along the banks of the river Traun or explore the area by bike.

Seven nights including breakfast and "Chiemsee Golf Card" (pay three times and play four times on seven different golf courses) start from EUR 339 per person.
