Radebeul, the large district town seated before the gates of Dresden, is known to the world as the town from which essential impulses for the construction of printing machines come from, as the town of tea, wine and medication. Radebeul is connected with names like Gerhart Hauptmann and Karl May. Radebeul has no town centre; instead, however it has numerous attractive streets and places. Radebeul is also considered as the "tea town". Since 1991 the "Teehaus GmbH" manufactures herb-, fruit- and medicine tea here.
