The German Alpine Road runs from the town of Lindau on Lake Constance, past the Royal Castles near Füssen (including the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein); via the winter sport resort of Garmisch, along idyllic lakes & villages (i.e. Tegernsee) to the famous towns of Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall, one of Germanys premier spa towns. Nearly 300 miles of beautiful lakes and mountain scenery awaits visitors.
