Fliegende Bauten in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg

The Fliegende Bauten circus tent - a blue, four-masted big top with space for around 600 people - stands in the Wallanlagen Park in the heart of Hamburg all year round. Just off the Reeperbahn, we offer international music and dance shows, such as "The Bar at Buena Vista", a full-blooded Cuban show, and "Gitte, Wencke, Siw", a trio of Nordic ladies. Our wide-ranging programme also stars Germany's own comedy greats such as Atze Schr�der and Mario Barth, and big-name concert artists such as Peter W�hler and Dominique Horwitz.

Our gastro-theatre will ensure that your tastebuds are more than satisfied. On the outside it's a 32 x 28 metre circus tent, but the inside has all the atmosphere of a very stylish restaurant. You can dine alone, with a friend or in a group at one of the tastefully decorated tables. The foyer tent leads through to a beer garden with a fountain and idyllic park ambience. The theatre bar is also open after the performance.

During the summer there is an identical tent - the Meerkabarett - on the island of Sylt. Every evening for two months, old hands and newcomers from the worlds of music, comedy and variety present tip-top shows and their latest productions.
