Munich and the Gay & Lesbian Hotel Deutsche Eiche

Think of a cultural hotspot with lots of famous museums and art galleries, beautiful venues for opera and musical performances and a variety of exciting events throughout the year. Place this city smack in the middle of breath-taking countryside with the Bavarian Alps and flowering meadows as a backdrop and sprinkle generously with Royal castles. In short, we are describing the Bavarian and Germany's "secret" capital of Munich.

Here a lively Gay and Lesbian community welcome visitors in the many bars, clubs and dance locations throughout the historic town centre. Munich's traditional Oktoberfest beer festival is famous the world over (just admire the boys on the first weekend at the Bräurosel tent) and visitors just fall in love with the light and leafy beer gardens and outdoor restaurants for their convivial and joyous atmosphere.

Stay at the Deutsche Eiche Hotel and experience Germany's most beautiful and spacious bathhouse and sauna. The hotel's restaurant - established in 1864 - not only used to be a favourite with Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Freddy Mercury also enjoyed a meal at the only Germany hotel under gay/lesbian management.
