Schwalm Region

Along the Fairytale Road in the state of Hessen lies a small region known as "the Schwalm".ï¿½ Some call it "Rotkï¿½ppchenland" because the Brothers Grimm immortalized the area with their story entitled "Rotkï¿½ppchen" or "Little Red Riding Hood".ï¿½ In the town of Ziegenhain, the Schwalm Museum is home to a number of costumes that might have been worn by Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
