New & Old Opera House Frankfurt

For the 2002/2003 season, the New Frankfurt Opera won the award for the best overall performer in the German-language opera house category.

The Alte Oper in Frankfurt is a significant landmark and an integral part of the Frankfurt cultural scene.It hosts a wide range of events in its mahogany-panelled "Great Hall", with its acclaimed acoustics. In the Mozart Hall there are further events including international ensembles, soloists, symphony and chamber concerts plus old and modern music like jazz, rock and pop and comedy.
