Exhibits

The result of cutting and polishing the raw stones can be seen in the glowing colours of the treasures displayed here in what is probably the most comprehensive gemstone exhibition in the world. The total length of the display cases is 280 metres and more than 9,000 exhibits are on display, even including gems from outer space. Other attractions include a major diamond exhibition and a collection of Greek and Roman sculptures illustrating the development of the art of engraving. The whole tour is packed with moving, interactive exhibits. At the press of a button moving three-dimensional models demonstrate how gems and diamonds are cut.
