Tips for Active Travellers

My top holiday tips for active travellers would be:

1 Forget the car - German public transport is so good and the route towards the alps was beautiful.

2.Bike hire is a cheap and easy way to get around - the network of cycle paths made it a relaxing and safe option.

3.Walking up the Zugspitze on the Klettersteig route was one of the best days ever in the hills. The Bratwurst at the top was definitely well earned.

4. The local cafes and restaurants are lovely in summer for sitting out and watching the world go by.

5.On a rainy day the gorge walk followed by a swim in the outdoor pool was very refreshing. Definitely want to go back soon
