Travel Without Barriers

The Deutsche Bahn (German railway) offers transportation service to the disabled. You can book this in advance using an individual hotline (+49 (0) 18 05 / 512 512). The telephones are on Monday through Friday, from 8am to 12pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. Germany also has 385 railway stations which have lifting aides or mobile ramps. Under certain prerequisites, the disabled and their escorts travel by train free-of-charge or at reduced rates. You can find more information in the extensive brochure Information for Disabled Travelers, available at all DB ticket counters or by ordering directly on the Internet.

The Lufthansa AG Air Travel Without Barriers Service should be booked in advance - if possible at the same time as making the flight reservation. For further details see www.lufthansa.com or ask your local travel agent. Alternatively, contact Lufthansa on +49 (0) 18 03 / 803 803 with your specific enquiries.
