Frankfurt
Trade fairs in the banking centre on the River Main

Nicknamed "Mainhattan" Frankfurt is home to more than 80 towering bank buildings and skyscrapers, such as the 256.5 metre-high Messeturm (trade fair tower). Frankfurt's historical quarter with St. Paul's Church, the imperial cathedral and Römerberg square can be found just a few streets away. A visit to a traditional cider bar and a stroll along the banks of the River Main are the perfect way to round off a day at the trade fair.

Trade fairs/exhibitions

Frankfurt is one of the oldest trade fair venues in the world, receiving imperial authorisation from Emperor Friedrich II in 1240. Today the trade fair stages 50 exhibitions and trade fairs every year that draw a total of around 40,000 exhibitors and more than 1.5 million visitors. Frankfurt is the traditional home of the largest consumer goods trade fairs in the world and also specialises in technology and textile fairs.

They have a central, inner-city location and are linked to Frankfurt's comprehensive network of autobahns.
