Visit Germany at Destinations - 26.01.2009

London, 26 January 2009 –Together with 18 partners the German National Tourist Office will be present at the Destinations Travel Show from 5 to 8 February at Earls Court.

Visitors can get updates on destinations, cities, cultural highlights and events in Germany at Britain’s biggest and favourite holiday and travel show and find out what makes the country a top destination in 2009. With the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall being celebrated this year, Germany’s most recent history can be explored in many ways, be it on bike along the Wall cycle trail in Berlin or by joining a tour of the former bunkers of the GDR’s National Army in Brandenburg.

Nature lovers can discover Germany on one of the many beautiful hiking or cycling trails and  pick up the latest “Active Germany” information package at Destinations or choose their  favourite  city  for a  value-for-money break.
