Travelling within Germany

Two Intercity Express trains
There are two discount fare structures – SparPrice 25 and SparPrice 50, giving 25% and 50% off standard return fares if passengers restrict themselves to a particular day and train and make a return journey to and from the same station.

The SparPrice tickets also offer 50% discounts for up to four travel companions.

Children aged 14 and under, when accompanied by their parents or grandparents, may travel for free.

Six persons or more travelling together can save up to 70% on rail travel in Germany.

Rail travel in Germany comes at affordable prices. DB’s fares depend on the distance travelled and the kind of service used. However, on many routes there are special offers all year round.

For further information, tickets and rail passes please call the Deutsche Bahn UK Booking Centre from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 08718 80 80 66 (8p/min) or send an email to sales@bahn.co.uk.

Timetable information is also available on their website.
