The German Highway Code

Right of way traffic sign
Driving is on the right and priority is given to traffic approaching from the right unless signs (see left "Right of Way" sign) indicate otherwise. Buses leaving stops have priority.

A green arrow to the right indicates that travel is allowed to the right while a red light for traffic going straight-ahead is shown.

Priority has to be given to pedestrians when turning left or right or at a pedestrian crossing.

No parking (loading/unloading allowed up to 3 mins)
Parking is not allowed up to 5m in front of/behind a road crossing, up to 10m in front of traffic lights and up to 15m in front of/behind stop signs and exits.

No stopping or parking
Germany does not use double or single yellow lines, instead keep an eye open for no stoping (see above) or no parking signs (see right).
