The town, east of the Ruhr area, offers a variety of possibilities. For daredevils, there is a black piste. Those with less experience on the slopes have plenty of options too.
Around Winterberg, one can descend the slopes of the Bremberg – Poppenberg – Herloh (15 km of pistes) and the Kahler Asten (842m). Skiers as well as snowboarders can choose from different, well-prepared slopes. Cross-country skiers would not have to be bored either. Even in the evening, cross-country skiing is possible as the trails in the Kurpark are illuminated.
In addition to the snow fun, Winterberg has a lot more to offer: swimming pools, casino, tennis, squash, toboggan run etc… After a day of so much action, you are welcome to enjoy taking a dip in the swimming pool at the hotel.
