This lake is surrounded by a few skiing areas where the so-called Stümpling is perfect for families with children and beginners, the downhills of Lyra, Sutten or Valleplifte. There is also the Moos-downhill.
For the more experienced skier or snowboarder there are the downhills of the Rauhkopf and Rosskopf (3.5 km). If you rather get pampered during a spa holiday, Bad Wiessee is very recommendable – renown for its iodine springs and the casino.
