The village with 4,700 inhabitants in the Oberbayerische Inn valley is a popular holiday destination and is known as an excellent destination for alpine and cross-country skiers.
In addition to the largest floodlight-piste, Oberaudorf and surroundings offers a very attractive winter sports area. Amongst others, the ski-heaven of Sudelfeld is well-known with more than 30 km of downhill slopes.
There is also a 3-km long natural toboggan run in Oberaudorf. Hikers can walk on the various snow-free paths. The many chalets, cafés and restaurants make sure that you will not miss out on anything in the gastronomic field.
