Usedom Island Nature Reserve

Historical Ahlbeck Pier
The Usedom Island nature reserve offers beach fun for everyone in its sunny, traditional Baltic resorts. But beyond the historical ambience of the lovingly restored resort buildings and the extensive beaches, this enchanting nature reserve near the Polish border is most notable for its varied landscapes. Sparkling lakes, mysterious moors, shady beech forests and gnarled coastal pines blend harmoniously into a landscape with picturesque villages that has been developed by man over the ages. Numerous well-signposted walking, cycling and riding trails allow visitors to explore the many aspects of this rich and varied "land by the sea".
