Hohes Venn-Eifel Nature Reserve

Lake Rursee in the Rureifel region
Stone age caves, splendid castles, venerable abbeys, ancient Roman buildings and incredibly biodiverse flora and fauna - the German-Belgian nature reserve Hohes Venn-Eifel has something for everyone. Cosy inns, well-appointed hotels and numerous campsites and motor home sites are all on hand for a relaxing holiday. The varied landscape with its rivers, streams, lakes and wooded hills is best explored on foot or by bike. The "Eifel without barriers" initiative enables people with disabilities to enjoy the magnificent natural sites in the region around the borders of Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.
