The Barn, regarded as the cultural heart of the town, is a half-timbered former grain store now used as a concert hall, museum, theatre and lecture hall. Readings, exhibitions, lectures and chamber concerts are held in its rustic surroundings, whilst the old weaving shop in the gallery has become a regular meeting place for local clubs and associations.
