The wild boar is the emblem of the counts of Hardenberg and the densely wooded area around Hardenberg hill has long been associated with these noble animals. The company distils schnapps and other liqueurs using wheat that it produces itself. On a tour of the distillery you can sample some of the schnapps created by the master distillers. In the "KeilerLaden" (wild boar shop) you can purchase a whole range of spirits and fine liqueurs featuring the black boar's head symbol on the label, as well as a range of other gift items.
