Since 1902, when Margarete Steiff created the famous teddy bear with a "button in the ear" that has conquered the world, the company has made him all sorts of new friends. All of them can be admired and purchased at the World of Steiff in the historic town of Giengen an der Brenz.

The World of Steiff is home to lots of teddy bears and their friends, all with a "button in the ear". There is a factory outlet shop packed with treasures as well as an interactive museum which tells the story of how the teddy bear was created more than 100 years ago. And there is even a demonstration workshop where new toys are made by hand.

Giengen an der Brenz, nestling in the broad valley of the river Brenz, is full of historical atmosphere. Its pretty, harmonious old quarter is the site of one of the most beautiful attractions of this old Hohenstaufen town: the Stadtkirche (town church).

The World of Steiff relates the 125-year story of these famous soft toy animals. The municipal museum offers an interesting insight into the region's history, which stretches back more than a thousand years.
