Shopping

Shopping in Fürstenberg centres on the 250-year-old tradition of porcelain production, and it is porcelain that has put this little town on the map. There is still plenty for visitors to discover behind the walls of the historic castle where the manufactory once stood.

In the castle grounds
You will find the porcelain factory shop in the castle courtyard. The shop carries the entire standard Fürstenberg range, plus seconds. Sales are held several times a year, especially when there's a gift occasion or public holiday in the offing. The porcelain is all traditional and handmade, yet has a contemporary feel. The classic Bauhaus-inspired design 'Form 369' remains a visual delight.

Opposite the castle grounds
Just stone's throw from the entrance to the castle is the Kobsch porcelain shop, where expert sales staff are happy to advise customers on their extensive range. You can pick up seconds of 'white gold', and even ask them to send it to you at home.

On the way to church
Busche is another specialist outlet dedicated to porcelain. From the castle grounds, head up the hill towards the church and you can't miss this traditional shop. This shop has been selling porcelain from Fürstenberg since 1897, which makes it the town's longest-established porcelain outlet.
