Hannoversch Münden is a gem of a town, located on the German Half-Timbered Houses Route where the Fulda and the Werra join to form the Weser. Over 700 half-timbered buildings can be seen here, spanning six centuries; fortified towers and some remaining town walls attest to a rich history. The town hall is built in Weser Renaissance style, and the Guelph palace is also of interest.
