Shopping

The pedestrian area, which offers Ulm's best outdoor shopping, extends from the main railway station across the minster square to Frauenstrasse. Most of the big-name fashion and department stores are in Hirschstrasse. The small side streets have a charm of their own and lots of interesting specialist shops to reward shoppers who take time to explore.
The Blautal centre (37,500m˛) in the west of Ulm offers around 100 specialist shops and a variety of services, cafés and restaurants. It is the largest indoor shopping centre in Baden-Württemberg and attracts large numbers of shoppers from Ulm and the surrounding area. When you need a break, the café and restaurant area offers lots of choice.
