Events

Überlingen is a popular place on Lake Constance to see and be seen. The historic spa town combines elements of a modern lifestyle with a mediterranean feel. Romantic souls can enjoy watching the sun go down on a cruise around the lake whilst others prefer to go out and party. And wherever lots of nice people congregate you'll be sure to have fun.

Überlingen Promenade Festival
Each July the promenade in Überlingen becomes a "festival mile" for the traditional Promenade Festival. Live bands create a festival atmosphere and provide musical entertainment with much singing and dancing. The huge firework display with its sparkling cascades and multicolour explosions bathe the lake and shore in colourful light. People come from miles around to visit the traditional art market which is also part of the Promenade Festival. It is held on the festival weekend and adds to the unmistakable atmosphere of this event.

International Lake Constance Festival
Regional culture is very much a part of the Lake Constance festival and is on an equal footing with guest appearances by world famous performers and ensembles. This festival takes place each May in and around the Lake Constance area.

Seehase Festival in Friedrichshafen
The Seehase Festival came into being after the Second World War to give children something to enjoy during the time of reconstruction. Since then the Seehase Festival has continually developed and now offers a diverse program of cultural events and entertainment. Each July this festival delights young and old when the "Seehase" (literally, "lake rabbit") gives out goody bags of sweets to the children.
