The flower parade, a highlight that takes place every other September, has become an extremely popular attraction over recent years. Around 20 beautifully decorated floats adorned with 400,000 dahlias form a magnificent procession through Bad Wildungen's old quarter and along the Brunnenallee. The popular cider festival in Bergfreiheit, the home of Snow White, has been celebrated every second Sunday in October since the start of the new millennium. While visitors learn how cider is produced, artists and craftspeople from the surrounding area demonstrate their skills in the Dorfpark. You can watch various items being made, from wooden decorations and woven straw goods to flower arrangements and straw animals and figures. Snacks and refreshments are also available.
