The Rhine Museum is a truly unique regional museum specialising in the history of shipping on the Rhine from the dug-out canoe to modern diesel ships. The Wine Museum in Senheim, 18km from Cochem, features one of the world's largest collections of vintners', coopers' and winemakers tools with more than 10,000 exhibits.
