Hamlin is famous for the Pied Piper story, one of Germany’s famous legends. Every Sunday (mid May – mid Sept) the Pied Piper story is re-enacted in the form of a 30 minute open air play (free admission). The legend is also depicted on the gables at the Hochzeitshaus – the clockwork figures come out daily at 13:05, 15:35 and 17:35.
Visitors can also visit Haemelschenburg Castle, Hamlin Museum, Hamlin Glassworks or take a river boat cruise on the River Weser.
