There is an amazing giant seawater aquarium with 20,000 species, including sharks and rays, and 40 other tanks depicting a variety of different habitats, all of which have been designed with great attention to detail. The Hiesfeld Forest nature conservation area is an idyllic mixed forest in the north of the town, forming the south-west section of the Hohe Mark nature reserve. A walking tour along the Rotbach river, which meanders through the romantic valley, is always a delight.
