The Rhenish Industrial Museum in Oberhausen is housed in a former rolling hall of the Altenberg zinc mill. It has nine exhibition units depicting 150 years of iron and steel-making history on the Rhine and Ruhr rivers, each focusing on different themes such as the origins of the iron and steel industry, technical developments, working conditions and much more.Bunker Museum

The Eisenheim housing estate is part of the Rhenish Industrial Museum in Oberhausen. Devoted to the industrial heritage of the Ruhr area, the museum focuses on the establishment and development of the estate. The streets still lined with 39 of the original semi-detached houses offer a good insight into the way the region's steelworkers lived.
