German Maritime Museum - Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum

German Maritime Museum
Location: Bremerhaven

From medival shipping to polar research, from fishing and whaling to leisure sailing and boating, the German Maritim Museum boasts a great deal of interesting subjects and displays including the oldest boat in the world from 9000 BC.

The museum complex is also home to an original Hanseatic cog from 1380 AD, a great Wilhem Bauer U-Boat and a habour with 9 floating historic ships.

Opening hours:
Daily 10 am – 6 pm
From 1/10 – 31/3: closed on Mon
Ships from 1/4 – 30/9: 10 am – 6 pm

Adults: 5,– €
Retired/children/handicaped: 3,50 €
Family ticket: 12 €
