Saarbrücken Christmas Market

Saarbrücken’s historical St. Johanner Markt square and the region’s most popular shopping street, the Bahnhofstrasse, provide the ideal backdrop for the Christkindl Markt. The fantastic attractions include a traditional alpine hut, a huge Advent wreath, the bell tower and life-sized Christmas characters. Every day at 7pm Father Christmas and his reindeer sleigh hover over the market on a high wire and tell the story of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
