Ingolstadt Christmas Market

Held on Theaterplatz square, Christkindlmarkt in Ingolstadt is a cosy affair with lovingly decorated wooden stalls, narrow little alleyways and a wonderful smell of baked  apples and glühwein wafting through the air. Local brass and wind bands provide a daily dose of seasonal sounds, while the Ingolstadt Nativity trail takes you around the town’s churches and museums, where you can find Nativity scenes from all periods and in a variety of different styles.
